My name is Wils Raubenheimer and I was born and raised in South Africa, where wide open spaces, dust roads and big skies have always felt like home. Over the past three decades I have spent countless days behind the wheel of a 4x4 and on the deck of a boat, leading overland, fishing and hunting adventures across Southern Africa. From remote desert tracks and river crossings to long days offshore in search of game fish, these journeys have shaped who I am.

Adventure has never been about rushing from one destination to the next, but about travelling slowly, safely and with purpose. I take pride in the planning that happens long before the convoy pulls out or the boat leaves the shore - from route selection and camp setup to safety checks, equipment and contingencies. This attention to detail allows guests to relax into the experience, knowing that logistics, risk and comfort are all being taken care of behind the scenes.

Over the years, I have guided trips through a variety of landscapes - coastal dunes, inland bushveld and mountain passes - and each region holds its own challenges and rewards. Whether we are crossing borders on a multi-day overland expedition, following a remote track to a wild campsite, or heading out at first light for a day on the water, the goal is always the same: to reveal the best of Africa in a way that feels immersive, genuine and unhurried.
